  • Hey Webmasters! New Photo Album Service Launched - Check it out!
Within the Southern District we have an education sub Committee who are there to assist churches and inviduals who want to increase their levels of understanding within Spiritualism. We can design a package that suits you as an individual, as we recognise there is no one size that can fit all persons or groups. Furthermore we understand it may be a significant number of years since you did any study work so the prospect can be some what daunting!! We can help if you contact us via the webmaster.

Important NOTICE:

Churches will from next year have to introduce an induction course for new members. the District is running a series of sessions designed to assist churches and Committees in how to manage this process. If requested we can provide material and guidance, JUST ASK!

A series of roadshows are being held, check your church noticeboard for details,

next one is at Parkstone 17th Nov. , all are welcome to attend.

This page is designed to assist the public and churches in all matters relating to knowing more about the SNU and Spiritualism.

Education is three fold:

1. To learn about the philosophy of Spiritualism to improve our individual knowledge and over time to be able to pass that knowledge on to others in a structured and informed way, whether that be within our churches or as individual groups within the community.

2. To improve our individual knowledge of the organisation of the SNU so that we can assist in the smooth and effective running of our churches, or via Class B membership assisting in the running of the national organisation that is SNU Spiritualism.

3. To advance our individual understanding of Spiritualism and of Spirit and how it can greatly improve the quality of our life.

The SNU run a whole series of courses to inform as well as educate almost anyone who is seeking more knowledge and understanding of Spiritualism. The web link to find out all the details is

http://www.snu.org.uk/Education/education.htm

This page is where you can find out all about how to do courses, who to contact plus, a full list of courses available can be found on

www.snu.org.uk/Education/courses.htm

The courses are at various levels and complexity, they are designed to be structured to take you from beginner to advanced. The cost is minimal (there is even a grant system for those who cannot afford it) and can be done a number of ways, either via the post, e mail, group work in our churches, you can even use tapes if you have difficulty reading or writing, or you can use the services of scribe! the list is almost endless. The most important thing is if you have any difficulty in taking courses then contact the education officer via the webmaster of the District and we can work out a method that will suit you.
